// Questions
Good to know
Do I need an account?
No. Open the link you were sent and download. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to install.
Will my photos or videos be compressed?
Never. Files arrive in their original resolution and format, exactly as they were shared.
What kinds of files can I receive?
Photos and videos in their original formats, including 4K video, HEIC, RAW, MP4 and MOV. Larger files can take a little longer to prepare.
Do links expire?
SKYDROP links don't have an expiry date. A link only stops working if the person who shared it removes the file.
Why does it say "Preparing" for a few seconds?
Your file is being made ready in full quality. Keep the tab open and the download button appears as soon as it's done.
